The Wendy House is a traditional terraced property set over 2 floors providing stylish and well-appointed holiday accommodation. Benefitting from having its own secure private courtyard garden overlooking the sea, this charming holiday cottage, which is located in Cellardyke, is only a few minutes walk to Anstruther front, where you will find the harbour, restaurants, shops and of course the famous Anstruther Chip shops.
The comfortable accommodation has spacious lounge with king size sofabed, modern fitted kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 x double, 1 x twin), 2 bathrooms (including 1 ensuite). Bed linen and towels are included in the rental.
The North East of Fife (known as the East Neuk), is noted for quality food and drink and is also an artists's haven. There are charming fishing villages, award winning beaches, coastal walks, fishing, sailing and diving all to be found locally. Boat trips are also available to the Isle of May which is a Nature Reserve owned and run by Scottish Natural Heritage. Here you can see the remains of a 12th Century monastery & the oldest light house in Scotland, as well as incredible wildlife including Puffins, Guillemot, Razorbill, Cormorant, Shag, Eiderduck and many more.
Although Anstruther affords most conveniences, further shopping can be found in nearby St Andrews - 15 minutes drive. And, as befits the home of golf, there are numerous courses for all standards of golfer in the area.
Edinburgh, Perth and Stirling are all within a short drive.
