Meikle Trochry Mill Cottages, only ten minutes drive from historic Dunkeld on the famous scenic road to Amulree, Sma Glen and Aberfeldy, are a superb conversion of 19th Century mill cottages each sleeping two.
The hamlet of Trochry where the cottages are located, retains stone walls, a ruined castle and river adjacent amid excellent walking country and providing a good central location for touring Scotland.
The owner, author Ann Linsday, lives in the neighbouring farmhouse, her own substantial garden is available for use, as are mill cottages own courtyard gardens.
Accommodation within each cottage includes an open plan lounge with wood burning stove, kitchen and dining area, double bedroom and luxury bathroom with underfloor heating. The cottages also benefit from each having a balcony, accessed from the lounge, from where you can relax and, if you're lucky, spot buzzards, red kites, ospreys, sea eagles, deer, red squirrels, pine martins and even, on occasion, a rare wild cat within just a few meters of the Mills!
